Micky has recently moved out of the intensive care unit at Morriston Hospital and in to a Rehabilitation ward. However the three operations Micky has now undergone have taken their toll. George has recently issued the following statements about his fathers condition:
"The hope that Dad will come back to play is passed; my only hope is that he can continue to have a good quality of life." " I see my father reguarly and have seen what operation after operation has done to him. Nothing would have given me more pleasure than to play with him on this new album, but I am very proud of my fathers achivements and foremost I am proud of my father full stop."
We are all very sadenned by this news. Everyone connected with Micky's website would like to thank him for the many years of entertainment he has provided us with with his unique and special playing and singing. We would also like to echo George's thoughts in hoping that Micky is able to have a good quality of life following his rehabilitation treatment.
