Just got back from seeing Man in Southend. Totally brilliant. Took me right back to those wonderful Sunday afternoons at The Roundhouse in the 70's. And George!! Looks like Micky, Plays like Micky. Awesome guitarist. Micky, you must be really proud of him. I met and chatted to Micky after a gig at the City University in London way back. What a lovely guy. Man were such a good group. Guess what - they still are.

The 1st gig I ever saw, was Man at the Kursal in Southend in the early/mid 70s. I cant begin to say how much your music and guitar playing has meant to me over the years. Learnt to play the guitar myself. Initially listening and learning some of the licks you played. I regularly enjoyed watching Man play but lost touch after I moved to Australia, Internet has now told me you are ill. So this is a complete stranger wishing you a speedy recovery and saying a big thank you.
By the way, I gotta agree with Deke (u-tube interview) ... Best improvisational guitarist ever.

Hi, couldn't make it to the Sin City gig, hope everything is ok with you. Sorry to hear you haven't been feeling well, hope everything goes well with you. You might remember me as the girl with the Hillman Minx who used to follow you around when you used to be the Bystanders.
