ABOUT US

Phil, Tony, Nick and I are Manband enthusiasts and as many of you will know, regulars at Man and offshoot gigs. The primary aim of this work is simply to attempt to capture the fantastic experience of seeing Man and the other related bands live, on film. We believe the quality of the music is such that it deserves to be captured.

Phil is also strongly involved in raising funds for the Morriston Hospital Neurosurgery Department and Llanelli Hospice and we usually donate a percentage of the profit from the sale of these products to these causes.

We should probably also point out that these films are made and sold with the permission of and on behalf of the artists involved.

These films are made on a very low budget although we aim to keep the quality level as high as possible using the equipment at our disposal. The films have become more elaborate as time has gone on culminating in the 4 camera shoot at the Patti Xmas gig in December 04 and the addition of dts 5.1 soundtracks combining recordings taken through the mixing desk with “ambient” room mics on recent soundtrack recordings. Everything we do will be in true 16:9 Anamorphic Widescreen.

The biggest problem we have is having either no, or at best a very limited amount of control over the lighting at the venues in which we film. The lighting conditions can make a very big difference to the end results.

One of the main reasons for this website is that it allows us to make available screenshots and mp3 clips to give everybody an idea of the quality of the product before they buy it. We don’t want anybody to be disappointed because the DVDs don’t look as polished as their Yes or Eric Clapton DVDs!

We are always pleased to receive feedback about any of our products particularly if you have any ideas about how they could be improved, or if you have any suggestions for what you think we should film in the future. Please feel free to contact me at:
